Welcome to Scholz & Friends Identify
Wolf Schneider was born in Kassel in 1970. He gained his early professional experience working as a designer and architect. By 1992, he was head of the Design and Interior Design department at the Baumheier, Schuck & Partner corporation. In 1996, he was made a managing partner. After the completion of the World Expo 2000 in Hannover, on which he worked as a Project Director, he joined the multimedia agency Pixelpark AG in Berlin as Technical Director, and was promoted to Managing Director shortly thereafter. Since 2002, he has supervised the creative performance of the Scholz & Friends Identify design agency as its Managing Director. Wolf Schneider has also served as Managing Director of Scholz & Friends Berlin GmbH since 2006.

His works, including for Germany’s nation-branding campaign, have won numerous prizes, including from ADC Germany, DDC, DP3D, scored a golden EVA Award, and were most recently nominated for the Design Award of the Federal Republic of Germany.

Penelope Winterhager was born in Berlin in 1972 and grew up in Bad Homburg v.d.H..
After earning a degree in economics and ethnology, she worked in Marketing for Elektrolux in Shanghai, China from 1998 on. She went on to gain experience in strategic corporate consulting. In 2000, she joined Scholz & Friends in Berlin to help set up the New Economy Business School.

From 2002, she served as New Business Manager and as account manager for customers including Hapag-Lloyd Express, Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung and A. Lange & Söhne. From 2005, she supervised the entire “Germany - Land of Ideas” campaign as senior consultant. Since 2006, Penelope Winterhager has served as Managing Director in charge of strategic consulting at the Scholz & Friends Identify design agency, and Managing Director of Scholz & Friends Berlin GmbH.
