Dieter Bohlen collides with the canvas
The German pop titan takes his lumps again in Scholz & Friends Hamburg's new TV commercial for insurer VHV

7/5/2010, Hamburg - “Auch harte Knochen müssen super versichert sein” (“Strong bones need great insurance, too”) – this is Dieter Bohlen's motto in the new TV commercial for insurer VHV. The pop titan, who already had to put up with a lot in earlier VHV commercials, has another series of mishaps in the film by Scholz & Friends Hamburg. The new misadventure will be shown on all high-impact TV channels from 5 July 2010 onwards.

In the commercial, Dieter Bohlen is busy adjusting a life-size portrait of himself in his living room when he suddenly loses his balance and lands on a tea trolley along with the portrait. The resulting involuntary ride is finally stopped by a door frame – but only for the painting. Bohlen himself goes right through the canvas head-first. But, thanks to VHV's affordable accident insurance, his misfortune has a fortunate outcome.

The film is part of an orchestrated campaign which includes ads, posters, direct mail and online measures. On the microsite http://www.vhv-superstar.de, insurance salespeople can personalize the commercial by adding their contact information. A link to the personalized film can then be forwarded.

The campaign for VHV's accident insurance is Bohlen's third performance for the insurance provider: in 2009, Scholz & Friends already showed him as a celebrity claimant in commercials for the company's private liability and motor insurance.

VHV is the specialist insurer of the construction industry and one of Germany's largest auto insurers. In addition to this, the Hanover company is also a high-performance provider in the areas of private property, liability and accident insurance.
