F.A.Z. - A clever mind behind it
Creation
The F.A.Z. is the newspaper for clever minds. The campaign of the Berlin Friends literally revives the four-decades-old claim ?There is always a clever mind behind it? and the attendant signet (a reader behind the paper): outstanding public figures - clever minds - from all areas of social life posing behind the newspaper. The setting permits conclusions to be drawn on the obscured person, whose identity is named by a small copy.

In October 2007 the F.A.Z. got a new look: amongst others there?s a daily coloured photograph on the front page. The new layout of the newspaper is expressed in the campaign "the white series" which is focused on the colored front page of the F.A.Z..
Awards
The campaign won numerous awards i.e. at the ADC Germany, ADC of Europe, ADC New York, International Advertising Festival in Cannes, New York Festivals, Effies, Clio, London International Advertising Awards and the Editor & Publisher competition INMA. Even the new motive with Ursula von der Leyen (minister of family) was successfull at creative advertsing awards.
