The advertising copywriter competition

Once a year, Scholz & Friends gives students a unique opportunity to find out whether they've got what it takes to become an advertising copywriter with the company's "Am I an Advertising Copywriter?" competition.

The writers of the best submissions will be invited to a weekend workshop with leading creative professionals from the Scholz & Friends network. Under the tutelage of seasoned experts the winners will design advertising campaigns and get a taste of the life of a copywriter. For a few lucky candidates there's also the prospect of working for Scholz & Friends. One of the explicit aims of the competition is to foster new talent for the agency network.

University students from all subjects and faculties are invited to impress our professionals with their sharp copywriting. Over the years, we've found that some of the best and most creative copywriters are those who come to us with skills in a completely different field, e.g. business studies, German literature, theology, veterinary medicine or even an unfinished apprenticeship as a potter.
