Initiative for a New Social Market Economy
Task
The Initiative for a New Social Market Economy (INSM) is a non-partisan reform movement that is funded by the associations of the metal and electronics industries.
The INSM wants to increase public support for the social market economy and help to get market-oriented reform ideas accepted.

Market-based reforms are good for everyone.
Success
The INSM is regarded as the most successful of all reform initiatives in Germany. The strategic coherence of the campaign has for years ensured a constant media presence for the INSM.
Numerous surveys prove that willingness for reform in the public has risen continuously since 2000.
