BIG goes directly to Scholz & Friends
Agency group wins pitch for complete account of Germany’s first direct health insurance company

BIG is placing all its communications requirements in the hands of Scholz & Friends. The agency group emerged victorious from a pitch for the complete account of Germany’s first direct health insurance company, and will be starting up an orchestrated campaign aimed at attracting new customers in 2010.
Frank Neumann, Chairman of the BIG Board of Directors, puts it like this: “Scholz & Friends understands the BIG brand strategy, and has a strong concept that is going to lead our employees and the people we insure forward into a future filled with promise.”

BIG direkt gesund, Germany’s first-ever direct health insurance company, was founded in 1996 by the Bundesinnung der Hörgeräteakustiker (Federal Guild of Hearing Aid Audiologists). Today, from its registered office in Dortmund, 500 BIG employees see to the needs of 390,000 insured persons right across Germany.
