Peter Stephenson-Wright entered advertising with rather unusual qualifications - Physics Honours from Oxford University and performing in revue with Rowan Atkinson.

He spent his first years acquiring classical marketing skills with clients like Procter & Gamble, General Foods, Bosch and Sony. He joined the Lowe agency in its early years and went on to lead the General Motors business first in the UK, then in Germany and finally across Europe.  In this period, Peter was associated with many of the agency’s award-winning campaigns for the Vauxhall and Opel brands, including three Golden Effies in Germany. Other clients he worked with at Lowe include BASF, Braun, BOC, Candarel and Ferrero Rocher.

In 1998, Peter joined Young & Rubicam to run Team Ford, a multi-discipline team based in Frankfurt delivering 360° communications to Ford.  He also spent time on the client side with a 7-month assignment as Marketing Director of Ford of Germany. Later as Managing Director of Wunderman Automotive he led the consolidation of the division’s multi-national business with Ford, Jaguar, Land Rover and Mazda into a single European contract. In 2004 he moved to Saatchi & Saatchi as European Operations Director with responsibility for Toyota, based in Paris.  Then in 2006, he rejoined Lowe in London.

In 2007, Peter took on the management role at Scholz & Friends London, working with clients such as Deutsche Bank, KPMG and Siemens.

Peter is an Associate Member of D&AD London and a past member of the CIM working group on Integrated Communications.  He lives in London with his wife, two daughters, two rabbits and a dog!
